Rosalind Schmidt
Ros attended Northern Kentucky University on a full scholarship for volleyball and transferred to Midway College where she continued to play collegiately. Ros came to Premier Athletics through a merger between her former gym, Spirit of Kentucky and Premier Athletics. This was one of the best decisions Ros could have made for herself, her children, and athletes. Premier Athletics allowed NKY families and athletes more opportunities along with her staff. Ros is married and has 6 children who are all college graduates (3 of whom now work at the gym in their spare time) along with 2 stepchildren. They have a family dog named Daisy who is a black German Shepherd. A fun fact about Ros is that she was named MVP in 3 sports during high school and was named to the Hall of Fame along with being named to the All Region NAIA in college. Ros says that volleyball was her gateway to the competitive world of all-star cheer and dance.
