Alexa Draper
I am an NKU alumni where I cheered for 2 years and received my Bachelors of Science in Accounting and also received my Masters of Business Administration at Thomas More University. I am a full time finance manager at General Electric, a wife, and a mom of two to Kallie and Krue.
I have grown up around cheer my whole life starting as an athlete at just 5 years old and continuing until I was 20. In high school we started a dance program at my mom’s gym Spirit of Kentucky and it took off and never looked back. I have been a coach for 17 years with 15 years being at Premier Athletics. I have coached mini hip hop up to our Level 6 Worlds team and everything in between. I have taken numerous teams to Summit and Worlds on paid bids and received several top 3 finishes at those events and most recently ASW. Coaching has always been a passion of mine and it’s even better if I get to coach alongside my 2 sisters and my mom, the GM that keeps it all together for us. Aside from coaching with my actual family, I get to coach with former athletes of mine and even former coaches so it truly feels like I am always surrounded by family the minute I step into the gym. While I have had many successes and memorable moments throughout my coaching career I think my favorite aspect of coaching is watching the athletes gain new skills and confidence, listening to their random stories from school or watching them vlog around the competitions being silly and making memories with their teammates. I am proud and excited to see the direction Premier is taking for the future of our program and all the effort our staff has put in to make our program the very best it can be. I’m ready to get the ’23-’24 season started!
